Calling all readers!!!

As you all know by now, we're moving to Texas.

AND as much as I wish I could click my heels together three times, a la Dorothy-style, and land in Texas faster than you can say Schenectady three times fast, alas it cannot be.

This means we have a L.O.N.G. drive ahead of us.

Which also means, be prepared for lots of funny pictures, tweets, and (if I'm real motivated) maybe even a mid-way blog!

From Scottsdale, AZ to Kingwood, TX it's approximately 17 hours. Yes, as in 17 hours. I have never sat still for that long in my life. In fact, I don't think I've sat longer than 3 hours straight. Call it an over-active bladder or restless leg syndrome (my Mom claims she really has this), either way, I don't just sit for that long without at least getting up and DOING something.

So, I need help readers! Please send me your best playlists for a LONG road trip. I have a lot of classical music, calming music, and then dance music to work out to...but road-trippin' music I am without.

So would you all be so dear as to leave some suggestions in the comments field? I have approximately 14 days till the ipod needs to be locked and loaded;)

And because every blog post is made better with a picture, here ya go!

Raleigh remembers to stop and smell the fake flowers, do you?

P.S. Why Schenectady you say? Why not?

Play road trip reward games. Every hundred miles you get an oreo. That's what my mom and I do. :)

You've got to put the new Dave Matthews Band CD on your ipod. It is their best work in a long time and you will LOVE it! "Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King"

Brionna - SO funny you said that, yesterday I discovered it and have officially declared it the best ever. AND "you and me" is the theme song for moving to Texas:)

Well, if you have a tape deck, I happened across our mix tape from high school... Could always send that along your way... Haha relive some old favorites. John and I bought trivia books and books on tape for the trip from AZ to Chicago... Kept us interested:) drive safe!!!
