Susan Elnora Meets the Big 4-7!

January 31st marks a most special and wonderful day - my mom's birthday!!!!

Isn't she beautiful? I love this smile!!! And I love her hair...as a kid she told me if I ate all the crusts off my sandwiches that I would get the same curls...it didn't work and I was sorely dissapointed:(


She's my hero for so many reasons, far too many to list here!


She's my source of comfort in good times and bad.


She's kind of crazy and the life of the party, but I love her for it!


See? Totally nuts:) But in the most fabulous way!


She's so cute - I LOVE this picture. Like it's the best ever:) Oh, and yes, that is my Grandpa... and yes he's rocking the short sleeve shirt and tie. What is that readers? Is it a laugh? It's okay, I laughed too. But he's fabulous, he can rock it.


Mom - You grow more beautiful and amazing with every year that passes. I am so blessed to have you as my mother, and more importantly, my best friend. Hope this is the best year yet!!! I love you:)

PS - I hope I look as hot as you twenty years from now! You go on with your bad self!

This little guy turns FIVE today! Can't believe how time flies...and somehow he manages to get cuter every year:) We love you, Carson!

Today's a New Day!

Alright, alright...admittedly it's been a LONG time since I've last posted! I have to honest, the end of 2008 came at me fast...I seriously felt like Christmas came out of nowhere this year and really snuck up on me. Ty and I didn't decorate at all, didn't even get a tree!!! (For those of you who know me, this is a HUGE deal. I mean HUGE.)

Anyhow, since then it's been a whirlwind...we got back from Texas, had friends out for a visit, and then went straight into demo-mode over here at the condo. For the last week and a half we had an operable shower for like 3 days. PS - do the math, I've been one greasy blogger...BUT this morning is a new day!!! We have what feels like an entirely new bathroom, and a fabulous shower! If that doesn't say Happy New Year, I don't know what does:)

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that your New Year is off to a tremendously great start...Here's to the best 2009!!!
