1. I love me some Kurt Vonnegut!
2. I love me some individual liberty!
3. I love me some creative, young, new director trying something fabulously refreshing!
This movie is yet to be released, but is making its rounds at the film festival circuits, those where it's actually being allowed. Already banned from Sundance (no shocker there!), it will make its premiere at the Seattle Film Festival. I was lucky enough to see a special screening as part of the conference I was at this past weekend, and let me tell you, I had chills, it is that good!
Here's the trailer, but for more information on the movie, please check out their website: http://www.finallyequal.com/
And for now, grab a handful of popcorn and settle in for a treat:

Mullets, Perms, and Days Past
A while back I was sharing with my friend, Wendy, how at one time I had sported a full-on mullet thanks to my mother's amazing ability to cut hair. She started out trimming my bangs and just went a little too far - I was three. Well, Wendy didn't believe me and thought I was exaggerating...so last night I sent her pictures of the pictures of my two very worst hair moments. AND, I decided they are too funny not to share on a Monday morning, so why not share with rest of you???
So without further adieu, my two very worst hairstyles....
The.Mullet.
AGAIN - In my defense of the look above, it was ALL my Mom's fault! Note the expression on my face though...it's like I know how ridiculous I look;)
Okay...now for the second worst look...and for this I am entirely to blame. I don't know why I thought this was okay or cool, but alas, I did. A friend and I were so desperate to make this style work that we actually permed our bangs to make sure it would hold on a daily basis. Yikes. That's all I can say. Oh, and I was in 6th grade...so that would mean it's like 93-94. Ty likes to call this picture my homage to In Living Color.
Totally.Rad.Like For Reals.
Please pardon my ghetto version of a scanner...pictures of pictures are not the best quality, but they do the trick:)
Hope you all enjoy the laugh and have a great Monday!
